Lineage provided me with a dining experience I will never forget! I absolutely love Asian fusion spots with diverse menus, and this one did not disappoint. Our waiter was wonderful, taking the time to explain the menu in such great detail. Another highlight is that they offer vegan and gluten-free options, which I didn't see much of on the island. We tried the crunchy cauliflower and the wagyu steak plate, which comes with two types of radish, bone marrow on the side, and rice. I was advised to mix everything together for the best flavor experience, and it was incredible! I made reservations here when planning my trip, and I highly recommend doing the same, as they fill up quickly. Just a quick note: they are closed on Sundays and Mondays, so make sure you visit between Tuesday and Saturday to experience this amazing spot.

Had a fabulous dinner. Our table was ready early, which was awesome. We were seated very quickly and the server came. She did a great job explaining some of the menu entrees to us that we had questions about. We had the Kanpachi pan fried fish (Amberjack)and the garlic noodles. The garlic noodles, you have to like garlic, were fantastic. The Kanpachi was extremely flavorful and delicious as well. I highly recommend lineage. And would like to return.

I’m typically not the biggest fan of fusion restaurants, but Lineage really exceeded my expectations! The flavour of each dish was so unique, yet remained true to its inspirations in Asian cuisine. It was definitely a memorable dining experience! For appetizers, we had the aji tamago, which are like deviled eggs, but with ramen eggs, so the yolk is runny. This is such a creative and inspired spin on deviled eggs! We also had the crispy shrimp & scallop croquettes, which are inspired by Cantonese dim sum. The umami flavour in this dish was incredible. We also had the ahi poke, which had raw fish on a wonton chip with fried spam on top. The fried spam just added a touch of saltiness that really balanced out the dish! For mains, we had the local fish of the day, in a steamed style. My family is from Hong Kong, so this fish was cooked in a way that reminded me of home, with the sliced ginger & green onions. Eating it over the rice served with it is absolutely perfect, and apologies to my mom, but was a better version of her homemade steamed fish. Loved this dish! We also had the Cantonese lobster noodles. This is the dish I would have often during banquets, and is one of my favourite dishes, so Lineage’s version had a lot to live up to, but boy did it! Lineage’s version isn’t a copy of the traditional dish; instead it brings in an Italian pasta influence with the butter. I could definitely taste its inspirations from Cantonese cuisine, but it brings it to another level! For dessert, we had the milk chocolate & miso ice cream. First off, we were so puzzled as to what this would taste like - we’d never had MISO in ice cream before! When we tried it, we were blown away! The honey croutons were soft and added a cohesive texture to the ice cream. The ice cream was sweet & salty, which was delicious. This dessert was a perfect ending to a great meal. We 100% would recommend experiencing the dishes at Lineage. The dishes are creative that you would not find elsewhere. Hats off to chef Emmanuel for designing such an awesome menu that showcases inspiration from different cuisines! We truly had such a great time here, not only with the delicious dishes but the excellent service as well. Our time at Lineage was one of the highlights of our vacation in Maui!

Simply beyond exceptional! A lot of restaurants will say you can’t miss when ordering an item from the menu, and I have every reason to believe that statement about Lineage. We tried the Crispy Shrimp and Scallop Croquets, Aji Tamago, Fresh Fish from Local Waters, Korean Fried Chicken, and Milk chocolate and Miso Ice Cream. Our server John provided those excellent recommendations. Every single item was a 10/10. Get your reservations early, this is a must eat while in Maui!

THIS IS STRAIGHT UP TOP 3 MAUI RESTAURANTS. If you go to Maui, don’t return without eating here. I’m a vegetarian and an Indian. I love Indian food. I personally prefer Indian food to anything else. But the crispy cauliflower here was so out of the world that it can potentially defeat some of my favorite dishes in my cuisine. We got the Garlic Noodles and crispy cauliflower. They were so tasty. Quick service as well. Great restaurant right in the heart of Wailea. Must visit.

This was my favorite restaurant on our 9 day trip to Maui. I am both vegan (plant based) AND gluten free and couldn't decide between the Oyster Mushroom Taro Birds Nest with Mushroom Gravy or the Crispy Cauliflower with curried satay sauce so I ordered both. What an unexpected surprise that both dishes were well thought out and so delicious! Dessert was just as special with a coconut based panna cotta. Not your run of the mill afterthought on the menu. My husband enjoyed his Wagyu striploin with bone marrow and had a fun cocktail served out of a Spam container and another one where the bartender used a special gadget to smoke the glassware. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful experience with friendly, attentive service, even though the place was packed on Christmas Eve! It's located in a mall with no view, so don't expect a super special location. That said, I will be dining here every time I come back to visit Maui for sure. Two friend groups will be there this week and I have recommended this place highly to both of them.

They were featured in top 15 restaurants in Maui and we had to try! We made a reservation for dinner. They have shareable plates and very good portions according to us. The ambience was nice the service was amazing. We ordered the Hawaiian fish dish chose the roasted version , there is a birds nest vegetarian fish and the garlic noodles . If you like garlic then please do order the noodles , it was delicious and had a zing to it! Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience

Lineage was on my list to try for the last several years, but I never felt I absolutely had to go, so never prioritized visiting during past trips to Maui. However, we finally tried it this last trip, and it was sooo good! The service was excellent, food so delicious and well presented. Easily one of my fav “nicer” restaurants on Maui (compared to other popular/nice restaurants in wailea area). They’re also kid friendly, despite being a nicer place. We can’t wait to go back and bring other family to try their food!
